I suspect the Bay of Fires walk has made some 'Top 25' list because of its ease (lodges, pack transferred for you, only 1 long day walking), the other activities offered, and that it would feel very private. Something that really struck me, coming from Sydney was how remote this walk was - it was amazing NOT to bump into another sole along our hikes. The most amazing holiday - can't praise our guides Adrien and Alina highly enough - nothing was too much trouble for them if it made our experience even better.
