Canberra Raiders' star recruit Curtis Scott will face court after allegedly kicking and punching police officer near the Sydney Cricket Ground in the early hours of this morning. Scott Michael Curtis, 52, died of "apparent natural causes" on June 7 following an illness, the Correctional Service of Canada confirmed. Curtis Scott's lawyer Danny Eid said they will fight the charges. Curtis Scott , seen here playing for the Melbourne Storm last year, was arrested early on Monday. Curtis Scott was labelled as the next big thing in the centres when he helped the Storm to the 2017 premiership while still a teenager.
