The Slytherins field a very strong Quidditch team. The Slytherin Quidditch Team of Hogwarts is drawn from the students of Slytherin House.

The team which accumulates the most points over the course of the school year is awarded the Cup. Slytherin strategy often appears to favour brawn over skill, and they will not hesitate to use dirty tricks or cheating.

The Quidditch Teams of Hogwarts are popular and important. They won the Cup for seven years in a row until Gryffindor finally took it away from them in 1994.
