There were so many opportunities to uncover Australia’s history at Sovereign Hill on Wednesday and Thursday – from exploring the Red Hill mine and panning for gold; visiting the Chinese camp and businesses that existed in the 1800s; to socialising with our roommates in the Northern Barracks.
Each summer we hold a camp program for children ages 6 yrs old and up. Pursuing a gradual re-opening approach Sovereign Hill will be open to visitors every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
