The Road to Emmaus Bible story is the first of three resurrection appearances found in Luke.
Together they walked and discussed the life of Jesus of Nazareth and how he may still be alive after his tomb was found empty. Answer: The events on the road to Emmaus are discussed in Luke 24. One was Alphaeus, known as Clopas. And the second is unlikely simply because it would mean there were two sisters, both named Mary. In which, two men are traveling to Emmaus just days after the crucifixion of Jesus when a third man "drew near to them." And they talked together of all these things which had happened. Discuss the kind of feelings the disciples might have had after their conversation with Jesus. The road to Emmaus is a long walk … about 12 kilometers, 2-3 hours on foot.
